Material:

  1. 1 kg of beef, cut into pieces
  2. 5 binocular red chilies
  3. 5 curly red chilies
  4. 9-10 red onions
  5. 5 cloves of garlic
  6. 5 cm ginger
  7. 1 1/2 tsp coriander
  8. 1 tsp cumin
  9. 3 candlenuts
  10. 1 tsp salt
  11. 1 tsp broth powder
  12. Pepper to taste
  13. Oil to taste
  14. 1 grated coconut
  15. 5 pieces of lime leaves
  16. 5 cardamom grains
  17. 5 grains of cloves
  18. 5 cm galangal
  19. 5 bay leaves
  20. 2 sticks of lemongrass
  21. 5 cm cinnamon
  22. Nutmeg to taste, grated
  23. 600 ml of thin coconut milk
  24. 200 ml thick coconut milk

How to make rendang

1. Blend red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, shallot, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, candlenut, salt, broth powder, pepper and oil using a blender. set aside.

2. Roast grated coconut. set aside.

3. Cook the mashed spices, add the pieces of beef, add the lime leaves, cardamom cloves, galangal, bay leaves, cinnamon, grated nutmeg, and roasted coconut. Stir. Add liquid coconut milk. Cook briefly.

4. Add thick coconut milk, cook until dry. Lift and serve.
