How to Cook Rendang Bontang

More complete, serve rendang with boiled cassava leaves, anchovies balado, and green chili sauce.
Material:
- 1 kg of beef, cut into pieces
- 5 binocular red chilies
- 5 curly red chilies
- 9-10 red onions
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 5 cm ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp cumin
- 3 candlenuts
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp broth powder
- Pepper to taste
- Oil to taste
- 1 grated coconut
- 5 pieces of lime leaves
- 5 cardamom grains
- 5 grains of cloves
- 5 cm galangal
- 5 bay leaves
- 2 sticks of lemongrass
- 5 cm cinnamon
- Nutmeg to taste, grated
- 600 ml of thin coconut milk
- 200 ml thick coconut milk
How to make rendang
1. Blend red cayenne pepper, curly red chili, shallot, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, candlenut, salt, broth powder, pepper and oil using a blender. set aside.
2. Roast grated coconut. set aside.
3. Cook the mashed spices, add the pieces of beef, add the lime leaves, cardamom cloves, galangal, bay leaves, cinnamon, grated nutmeg, and roasted coconut. Stir. Add liquid coconut milk. Cook briefly.
4. Add thick coconut milk, cook until dry. Lift and serve.
